Acer Intros Three LCD Displays In Japan

Acer has come out with three new affordable LCD displays for the Japanese market namely the 17-inch V173Bbm, 20-inch P205Hbmd and 21-inch H223HQFbd. The 17-incher V173Bbm supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 degrees viewing angle, 1W +1 W built-in stereo speakers and low power consumption of only 14W. Joined by the mid size 20-inch P205Hbmd that features 1600 x 900 resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 degrees viewing angle and 1W +1 W built-in stereo speakers. Samsung to launch two professional LCD monitors 'Syncmaster 80'

Samsung Electronics announced the launch of two professional LCD monitors 'Syncmaster 80 Series(model: F2080/F2380)' in Korea market. Supporting 178-degree viewing angle and 150,000:1 contrast ratio, it has an adjustable stand and 15mm-thick slim bezel with a non-reflective black color. Acer Unveils Eco-Friendly LCDs Reducing Power Consumption By 36%

Acer Japan has rolled out two new eco-friendly LCD monitors in the form of the V193WBbmd and V223WBbmd (pictured above). Both of them are energy efficient displays, reducing power consumption by almost 36%. As for the specs itself, both monitors feature 5ms response time, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 300cd/m2 brightness. The main difference is that the V193WBbmd only comes with a 19-inch display with 1,440 x 900 resolution, meanwhile, the V223WBbmd offers a bigger 22-inch display with 1,680 x 1,050 resolution. The Acer V193WBbmd and V223WBbmd are priced at $185 and $236 respectively.
