Acer has released an upgraded version of its Acer Predator gaming PC in Japan. The new Predator ASG7710-A41 is powered by Intel’s 3.06GHz Core i7-950 processor with a 6GB of DDR3 memory (and support up to 12GB of RAM), twin NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 1GB video cards for extreme graphics, Acer’s G15 gaming keyboard and G9 gaming mouse. Other features include Intel’s X58 Express chipset, a 1TB 7,200rpm SATA hard-drive, a Blu-ray drive and a multi-format memory card reader. There are eleven USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA, four DVI-D outputs and two gigabit ethernet ports that are enough to get your LAN game started smoothly. Acer has rolled out two new desktops from its M-Series in the form of the ASM5800 and ASM3202. The Acer ASM5800 features a 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 1TB of SATA HDD (7200rpm), a Blu-Ray disc drive, and a choice of ATI Radeon HD 4650 (1GB of VRAM) GPU or nVidia GeForce GT 230 (1.5GB of VRAM). Other features include HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 USB 2.0 ports.
The Acer ASM3202 comes jam packed with a 2.80Ghz AMD Phenom II x4 925 CPU, up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 750GB of SATA HDD (7200rpm), an ATI Radeon HD 3200, and a DVD SuperMulti drive. The Acer ASM5800 and ASM3202 are priced at 139800 Yen ($1,462) and 69800 Yen ($730), respectively.
Acer is back with a new version of its AspireRevo nettop. Unlike its predecessor, the new version comes packed with a dual-core Atom 330 CPU, a 4GB RAM and the choice between a 320GB or a 500GB of storage. Acer has come out with three new affordable LCD displays for the Japanese market namely the 17-inch V173Bbm, 20-inch P205Hbmd and 21-inch H223HQFbd. The 17-incher V173Bbm supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 degrees viewing angle, 1W +1 W built-in stereo speakers and low power consumption of only 14W. Joined by the mid size 20-inch P205Hbmd that features 1600 x 900 resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 degrees viewing angle and 1W +1 W built-in stereo speakers. Finally the 21-inch H223HQFbd that supports a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 5ms response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness and 160/170 degrees viewing angle. Acer has released an ION-less version of its Revo nettop called the Veriton N260G. This mini desktop is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU and features an Intel GN40 chipset with GMA X4500 graphics card, a 2GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, an HDMI out and runs on XP Home / Pro or Vista Home Premium. Acer Japan has rolled out two new eco-friendly LCD monitors in the form of the V193WBbmd and V223WBbmd (pictured above). Both of them are energy efficient displays, reducing power consumption by almost 36%. As for the specs itself, both monitors feature 5ms response time, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 300cd/m2 brightness. The main difference is that the V193WBbmd only comes with a 19-inch display with 1,440 x 900 resolution, meanwhile, the V223WBbmd offers a bigger 22-inch display with 1,680 x 1,050 resolution. Amazon has announced the availability of the new Acer Aspire One 751 netbook on its site, you can pre-order this mini laptop for $399.99 (3-cell version) and $449.99 (6-cell version).
