LG XF1 Multimedia Hard Drive

The LG XF1 is the company’s first mobile multimedia hard drive that measures at just 20.8mm thick. The device comes with a 500GB of storage capacity and a codec decoder that only reads exclusively FAT32 and NTFS. It means that the XF1 is not compatible with Mac. There are a composite AV output, a mini-USB jack, and a HDMI connector that enables you to stream HD content straight to your HDTV. Supported video formats include AVI, Xvid and the wide range of MPEGs alongside all popular audio codecs. Sadly, the LG XF1 doesn’t support H.264 and MKV codecs. No word on pricing or availability at this time. [EverythingUSB]
